Scott is the owner of Barkley Funeral Chapels. He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1987 and then went on to graduate from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1990. He and his wife Lori, have been married for 28 years and have two daughters, Mckenzi (Jon) Easton and Sydney (Andy) Tipton. They enjoy spending time with their grandsons, Jax & Huck Easton and Canaan Tipton. Scott enjoys riding his motorcycle and gardening. Scott and Lori purchased the Barkley Funeral Chapels from Michael & Marilyn Barkley in 2008. Scott worked for the Barkleys for 20 years before purchasing the funeral homes. Scott was born and raised in Toledo, Illinois and loves serving his community in their time of need.
Tony graduated from Cumberland High School in 1987 and attended mortuary school at Vincennes University where he graduated in 1991. He resides in Newton with his wife Lisa of 25 years, his daughter Anna and son Brock. He enjoys fishing and being outdoors. Tony and his family attend the Central Christian Church of Newton. Tony had worked part-time for Barkley's for many years prior to coming on full time in 2015.

Mckenzi is Scott's oldest daughter. She is a 2007 graduate of Cumberland High School and a 2011 graduate of Eastern Illinois University. She joined the family business in 2014. Mckenzi is married to Greenup native, Jon Easton and has two boys Jax (3) and Huck (1).

Shelly is a family oriented hometown
girl locally born and raised in Teutopolis. Shelly graduated from
Teutopolis High School in 2014, attended Lake Land College transferring to
Worsham College where she graduated in September of 2016 with a degree in Mortuary
Sciences; Shelly then completed her apprenticeship at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton,
IL. Shelly is the daughter of Ron (Twilla) Ruholl of Teutopolis and
Becky (Scott) Howard of Sigel, she personally understands the importance of
family coming from a large family herself, with 4 brothers and 3
sisters. Shelly finds strength in faith and is a member of St.
Francis of Assisi Church. In her spare time, Shelly appreciates
time with family and friends, loves time spent on her family’s farm, and of
course shopping. Shelly looks forward to serving the members of our
community by assisting to make others’ lives a little easier during those most
