Rosemary Brandenburg

Rosemary “Rosie” Brandenburg, 91, of Greenup, IL passed away at 5:00 AM on December 2nd 2017 at the Casey Health Care Center in Casey.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 5th 2017 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery.

Rosie was born in Willow Hill, IL on April 14th 1926 the youngest of Jacob C. & Flossie (Ryland) Eubank. Surviving is devoted companion Jerry Sidwell of Greenup; sister in law Elizabeth Eubank of Greenup; Step children Jerry Sidwell Jr. Casey, John Sidwell (June Craig) Casey, LeeAnn (Steve) Judy of Newton, Janet Sidwell of Tampa, FL and Nancy (Toby) Simpson of Greenfield, IN; and was a special Aunt to Nieces and Nephews  Hugh Eubank, Bill Wylde and Diana Swinson, Laura Allison.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ralph Eubank and Phillip (Mildred) Eubank; Sisters Esther Eubank and  Lenora (William) Wylde. Rosie was the bookkeeper for Eubank Motor sales in Greenup for 30 plus years. She was member of the Presbyterian Church in Greenup, a 70-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Greenup VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Beautiful inside and out, Rosie has been greatly loved and will be long remembered. Memorials can be made to the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
