Linda Sue Nelson

Linda Sue Nelson, 61 of Greenup, IL passed away 12:35 PM on November 11th 2017 at her residence.

There will be family only services at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family.

Linda was born on April 9, 1956 in Mattoon, IL to Carl & Betty Jean (Paul) Closson.

She married Kurt Nelson on September 28, 1996. Surviving is her husband; children William (Sherry) Closson of Greenup, Levi Closson (Christina Milliam) of Greenup, Cazi (Jeremy) Hudson of Flatrock and Sonya (Josh) Kirkpatrick of Greenup; grandchildren Tyler Whitworth, Makeegan Sparling, Tristan “Norty” Kirkpatrick, Carter Joe Kirkpatrick, Ella, Trigg, Zayla Hudson; sisters Sandy (Dale) Pearson of Rockford, IL and Marilyn (Wayne) Oakley of Toledo; Brother Byron (Bobbi) Comer of Noble, IL. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Carol Lawrence, Carl Closson and Nancy Comer.
