Dear Karie, Vicki, Ricky and Families,
We really appreciate you notifying us of your dad's passing. Chuck and I were stationed together out in San Diego. I have fond memories of your parents, especially when we traveled across country to report for duty in Norfolk, Virginia. You guys were young back then and Ricky came into the world later. Your dad was my Best Man at our wedding in 1976. Your dad was a "Go to" kind of a guy, always willing to help others. He helped us make a beautiful steel bar-be-que pit for our first home. Chuck was a lot of fun and had great stories to share. We loved both of your folks and we are better people for having the opportunity to spend time with them. We only regret not getting up to Illinois to see them. We will pray for continued healing for you guys and that your best memories of your dad come to the forefront of your mind to help get you through the rough times.
Very Respectfully,
Ed and Edie Compo

Dear Vickie and family,
We were so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. He was the best! All those years working with him at the Blaw and I had no idea he'd given so many years of service to our country. I wanted you to know I appreciate those years given and the time I got to know him through work. He was so wise and smart about so many things much as my Dad was also. All the BK stories I know you've hrard...he was a nut and a cut up and so much fun to work with! We are sorry for your loss. Be strong. I miss seeing you in Dieterich.
Love Katie n Larry

We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Our heartfelt prayers and love go out to all of you kids and your families. We met your mom and dad in San Diego, CA. when Karie was just about 2 or younger and had so much fun with them. God Bless all of you and rest in peace, Chuck.
