Wilma Kathryn Carrico

Wilma K. Carrico, 85, of Toledo, IL passed away at 11:00 pm on February 27, 2018 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday March 2, 2018 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 to service time on Friday. Burial will be in the Greenup cemetery.

Wilma was born on February 12, 1933 in Greenup, IL to William “Bud” & Flossie (Jones) Robey. She married Everette “Bill” Carrico on April 30, 1950 and he preceded her on March 12, 1998. Surviving is a son Wesley Carrico of Casey, IL and a daughter Vickie Carrico of Greenup, IL; two grandchildren Kristina (Ben) Mayes and Jon Carrico; five great-grandchildren Taylor, Deryck, Kylie, Jeremiah and Jacob; Sister Marjorie Raymer of Toledo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant daughter Marsha, one great grandchild and four brothers and three sisters.

Wilma was homemaker and worked 30years as a CNA at Cumberland Nursing Center. Before that she had worked Ettelbrick Shoe Co, TRW in Marshall and Underwood Electric in Casey. After retirement she was an in-home caregiver for many years. She loved to play Bingo and go to rummage sales.
