William H Mitchell

William H. Mitchell, age 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 5, 2023.

A private family service will be held at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

William was born on April 16, 1940, in Portland, Oregon to William and Effie (Butterfield) Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Myra Mitchell of Casey; two sons John (Donna) Mitchell of Bristol, Virginia, and Daryl (Cheryl) Mitchell of Walterboro, South Carolina; daughter Dawn (Billy) Bonds of Martinsville; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sara and two grandsons Steaven Lowry and Jared Mitchell.
