William Stewart Obituary

William K. Stewart, age 59, of Casey, IL. passed away at 5:40 am on December 16, 2021, at his residence in Casey, IL.

Services will be held at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family with arrangements.

William was born on July 28, 1962, son of Jack and Iris (Gruenewald) Stewart, in Shelbyville, IL. He married Melissa “Lisa” Roberts on June 12, 1992. He is survived by his wife Lisa; sons, Gary Buhler, and Casey Stewart; brothers, Jack Jr. (Tina) Stewart, and Ralph (Karen) Stewart; and sister Anita (Stan) Russell. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Bernard and Mildred Gruenewald, two brothers Kelley Stewart and Roger Stewart, one sister Katherine Stewart.

William worked as a rework specialist at Stevens Industries for 22 years. Memorials can be made to Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude.
