William R. Bly, 78, of Lerna, IL passed away 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Brookstone Estates of Charleston.

Private service will be held. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family.

Bill was born April 23, 1942 on Shelbyville, IL the son of Edward and Dorothy (Plummer) Bly. He is survived by his son, Bill Bly of Chillicothe, MO; daughters, Tracy Bly of Mobile, AL and Tina Bly of Peoria, IL; five grandchildren, Christina Bly, Sara Gater, Ryan Bly, Javonta Bly and Steven Stiezhorst; nine great grandchildren, Carrie Stiezhorst, Atiah King, Khali Skyes, Nevaeh Bly, Chole Simmons, Breylien King, Eternity Thomas, Serenity Gater and Meresinty Burnett; and brother Gary (Brenda) Jones of Lerna, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
