Verna Lee Reynolds

Verna Lee Reynolds, 64, of Casey, IL., passed away at 10:30 pm on June 18, 2023, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life service will start at 6:00 pm on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at the Casey First Baptist Church in Casey, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until service time at the church. There will be a dinner following the service. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Verna was born on October 11, 1958, the daughter of Vern Lee and Judith Ann (Boyd) Waller at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She married Robert Reynolds on August 23, 1987. She is survived by her husband Robert; her father Vern; sons Darrell Jr. (Tory) Boone, and Darren (Mikala) Reynolds; daughter Kimberlyn Reynolds, and like a daughter, Katy Louhanson; grandchildren Devinne, Jayden, Anna, Jacksyn, Dakota, Bentley, Layven, Ada, Cayson, and Ryley; sister Lori Waller; brothers Jimmie Waller and Richie Waller; and best friend Dawn Bonds. She was preceded in death by her mother Judith, stepmother Irene Lee Waller, one great grandson Karson; paternal grandparents Clyde and Mattie Waller; and maternal grandparents Glen and Geneva Boyd.

Verna worked as an E.M.T for the Clark County Ambulance Service for over 30 years. She attended the Casey First Baptist Church.
