Terry J Kemper

Terry Jean Kemper, 65, of Neoga, IL passed away at 8:40 pm on August 11, 2021, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday August 17, 2021, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery. 

Terry was born in Greenup on August 3, 1956, to Delores & Lorraine (Leclercq) Snack. She married Wendell Kemper on July 24, 1976, and he preceded her on March 12, 2021. Survivors include daughters Bridget (Bobby) Adamson and Heather (Brad) McElravy; grandchildren Branden (Mara) Adamson, Trent Adamson (Macie Collins), Macey McElravy and Mya McElravy; great grandchildren Bryar Adamson, Thayer Adamson and Zayden Brummer; sister Diana Myers; and two very special pet yorkies Gabby and Bo. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Earl Snack; sisters Betty, Effie, Edna, Pat, June, and Jane.

Terry worked at the Ettelbrick Shoe Company, UTA in Newton for 10 years, then retired in 2019 from Evapco Midwest after 25 years. Memorials can be made to Jeepin for a cure or the First Baptist Church in Greenup. Online condolences can be expressed at www.barkleyfuneralchapels.com
