Steven Mac Morgan

Steven Mac Morgan, 79, of John’s Island, SC passed away on January 19, 2023, at Cape Coral Hospital in Florida.

            Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday January 28, 2023, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 to service time on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery.

            Steve was born on May 14, 1943, in Mattoon, IL to Fred Gerald and Helen Louise (Dobbs) Morgan. Steve married Marilyn Starwalt on June 4, 1961; she preceded him in death on December 17, 2016. Survivors include his sons Greg (Robyn) Morgan and Mitch Morgan; grandchildren Samantha (Marcus) Adams, Taylee (Skyler) Eldridge, Danaille (Tony) Huffman, Becky (Jeff) Sims, Jordan Morgan, Logan Morgan, Henry Morgan, Merle Ann Morgan; great-grandchildren Hailey and Braylon Adams, Dylan Morgan, Jimmie Harlan, Jake and Kyndal Duvall,  Asher and Addax Eldridge, Alli, Henley and Madilyn Huffman. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Scott Morgan, great-grandson Connor Huffman: and sister Rita Faye.

            Steve was an entrepreneur, general contractor, and all-around handyman. He loved and was loved by his family and most of all, his grandkids.
