Ruby Irene (Kibler) Cisney

Ruby I. Cisney, 102, of Casey, IL passed away at 9:00 PM, Friday, September 4, 2020 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Aten Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Ruby was born March 20, 1918 in Newton, IL. The daughter of Walter and Bertha (Myers) Kibler. She married Eddie Reisner on March 11, 1935 and he preceded her in 1966. She then married Gilbert Cisney and he preceded her in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy (Chester) Smith; step-daughter, Janice (Jack) Watkins; step-sons, Duane (Karen) Cisney, John (Anita) Cisney, Jim Cisney, Jerry (Pid) Cisney, Virgil (Cindy) Cisney, Vernon (Kathy) Cisney and Charles Cisney; nine grandchildren; 26 step-grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 40 step-great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Orville Kibler. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Reisner; step-daughter, Mary Jane Lewis; brother, Delbert Kibler; and sisters, Cleo Babbs and Hazel Kibler.

Ruby worked at Ettelbrick Shoe Factor from 1949 to the 70’s.  She was a homemaker that enjoyed fishing, camping, and reading her bible.
