Rogene (Hutton) Redfern

Dotty Rogene Redfern, 96, of Dardenne Prairie, MO passed away at 11:22 AM on December 29, 2019 at Caregivers Inn in Dardenne Prairie, MO.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 4, 2020 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel located at 114 Courthouse Square in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be from 12:00 to service time on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery.

Rogene was born on January 28, 1923 in Greenup, IL to George and Cora (Spessard) Hutton. She was a graduate of Greenup High School Class of 1940 and obtained her beautician license thereafter. She married Ralph Redfern on June 15, 1946 and he preceded her in 1994.   She was a busy homemaker and successful beautician for many years and also assisted her husband in the operation of their business Redfern Farm Supply in Litchfield, IL for nearly 40 years. When Ralph was elected Mayor of Litchfield, she was also his secretary while he held that office.

Rogene was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers,
Clyde Hutton and George Hutton.

Dotty Rogene Redfern was loved by family and friends and will be missed by all.
