Robert D. White

Robert “Bob” D. White, age 82, of Greenup, IL. passed away at 1:00 pm on December 12, 2021, at his residence in Greenup, IL.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 1:00 pm in the Aten Cemetery.  The Barkley Funeral Chapel, in Greenup, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert was born on June 19, 1939, son of Roy and Delpha (Pillman) White, in Neoga, IL.  He married Becky Wright on September 28, 1988. Robert is survived by his wife Becky; children, Paul (Lori) White, Amber (Jerald) Richards, and Cherryl “Charlie” Clark; sister, Sherry Walk; grandchildren, Kiah White, Kesia (Ryan) Decker, Sarah White, Jared Clark, Kirston (CJ) Muston, Kendra (Christopher) Watkins, Natasha Smith, Tayla Richards, Robin (Aaron) Zody, and Chris (Constance) Oakley; 15 great-grandchildren, and good friends, Ian and Amber Budd. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ronnie Oakley and 3 brothers, Donald White, Roger White, and Eli Goodwin.

Robert worked construction and as a truck driver for many years.  He attended Pleasant Valley Church in rural Greenup, IL.
