Raymond D Overstreet

Raymond D. Overstreet, age 60, of Charleston, IL passed away at 6:35 pm on Sunday October 17, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL.

Raymond was born on April 26, 1961, to Raymond H. and Auga (Bryant) Overstreet.  He married Peggy Harris on April 20, 1980.  Raymond is survived by his wife Peggy; son, Christopher (Kate) Overstreet; daughter, April Bennett; brother, David Overstreet; sister, Debbie Carmickle; many aunts, uncles and cousins; grandchildren, Joseph Overstreet, Mackenzie (Blake Clough) Overstreet, Kordell Overstreet, Jason Overstreet, Taylor Bennett, Austin Bennett, Skylar Bennett, Annabel Overstreet, Dakota Frye, Heather Orsborn, Andrew Orsborn, and Gabe Turner.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son, David Harris.

Raymond worked in the manufacturing industry as a Kiln Operator and worked at Vesuvius in Charleston, IL. for 35 years.
