Phoebe Hoeppner Obituary

Phoebe Hoeppner, 79, of Mattoon, IL. passed away at 12:08 am on Friday May 2, 2025, at her residence.

Cremation Rites will be accorded. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo is assisting the family.

Phoebe was born on July 13, 1945, in Chicago, IL. She married Daney Hoeppner on March 29, 1982. He preceded her in death in 2014. Survivors include sons, David (Amanda) Hoeppner, Wes (Debbie) Thomas, and Chris (Maggie) Thomas; daughter Tracy Daniels; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents Joseph and Ruth West, stepdaughter Theresa, and grandchild Aurora.

Phoebe was a homemaker. She served her country in the Navy from 1965-1966, during the Vietnam War.
