Neta Christine Graham

Neta Christine Graham, age 75, of Greenup, IL passed away at 1:59 pm on Thursday September 23, 2021, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Graveside services will on Thursday October 21, 2021, at 1:30 pm at the Toledo Cemetery in Toledo, IL.   The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Neta Christine was born to Claude and Wilma (Tutwiler) Smith on November 27, 1945, in Charleston, IL. She married Jerry T. Graham and he preceded her in death in 1996.  Survivors include son, Perry Graham of Greenup, IL; daughter Mary (Scott) Applegate of Casey, IL; sisters Vicki “Minnie Ruth Smith” Mills, Ruby Deckard, and Fern Carver; grandchildren Tyler, Edreanna, Braili and Braiden Graham, April and Travis Ridgley, Meghan and Elizabeth Applegate; and nine great-grandchildren.  Neta Christine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bernard Tutwiler, Calvin Smith, Dwight Allen Smith, and Charles Clyde Westfall; sisters Sybil Baker, Glenna Smith, and Margaret Carpenter.

Neta Christine worked for Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center as an LPN for 16 years and was a member of the Toledo American Legion Auxiliary.
