Michael "Mike" Pfeifer

Michael “Mike” A. Pfeifer, 52, of Effingham, formerly of Toledo, passed away at 10:20 am on May 19, 2025, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday May 22, 2025, in the Harmony Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Mike was born on June 9, 1972, in Mattoon, IL. to Jim and Linda (Kemper) Pfeifer. Survivors include his brothers Jim Pfeifer and Jeff Pfeifer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike was a machinist for Bohn and Dawson Inc. in Valley Park, Missouri for many years. He was a graduate of Cumberland High School.
