Mary Strong

Mary Strong, 97, of Greenup, passed away at 1:20 am on Friday November 1, 2024, at the Cumberland Rehab and Health Care Center in Greenup.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday November 6, 2024, in the Harmony Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Mary was born on July 22, 1927, in Hidalgo, IL, to Carlyle and Clara (Paul) Huddlestun. She married Kenneth Strong on March 16, 1946. He preceded her in 2003. Survivors include her sister-in-law Veva Huddlestun, and several nieces and nephews. She was  preceded in death by her parents; infant sister Sarah; brothers Kenneth Huddlestun, Wayne “Joe” Huddlestun, Raymond “Buck” Huddlestun, Forrest Huddlestun, and Clarence Huddlestun.
