Lila Ann Walker

Lila Ann Walker, 79, of Charleston, IL, passed away at 3:30 pm on Wednesday September 14, 2022, at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Sunday September 25th 2022, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 on Sunday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Jewett Cemetery.

Lila was born on January 20, 1943, daughter of Howard Dean and Marie (Cameron) Hellman, in Trowbridge, IL. She married Clarence Merle Walker on October 8, 1960, and he preceded her in death in 2018. Surviving are her daughters Carla Ann (Glenn) Poorman, Ruthie Marie (Dave) Stone, and Theresa Lynn Walker; Grandchildren Joseph William (Lisa) Poorman, Karly Louise (Matt) Quinn, Justin David (Danielle) Stone, Nathan Lee (Tiffany) Stone, Robert C. (Sarah) Williams, Courtney Lynn (Jake) Holms and Chad Ryan (Taylor Thoele) Williams; and great-grandchildren Dylan, Glenn, Matthew, Rylie, Tanner, Cambri, Owen, Waylon, Jacklyn, Lilly, Clare, and Kallie.

Lila was a homemaker. Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
