Larry D. Stierwalt

Larry Duane Stierwalt, age 81, of Toledo, IL passed away at 11:41 AM on January 13, 2022, at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday January 17, 2022, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 on Monday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery.

Larry was born at home in rural Toledo on December 12, 1940, where lived all his life to Clema and Geraldine (Redfern) Stierwalt. Survivors include his brothers Keith (Brenda) Stierwalt of Mattoon, IL, and Randall (Janet) Stierwalt of Toledo, IL; special nieces Rebekah (Mike) Doty and Rachel (Josh) Hicks. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry worked from 1959 to 2009 at Norge later known as Fedders Corp. in Effingham until retirement. He served in the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970. Memorials can be made to the Jewett Community Church. Online condolences can be expressed at www.barkleyfuneralchapels.com
