Korey Joe Russell

Korey Joe Russell, 49, of Toledo, IL passed away at 11:50 AM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Toledo Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening at the Toledo Christian Church from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Masonic rites will be given after visitation. Wearing of masks and social distancing guidelines will be asked of all attendees. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Korey was born on June 29, 1971 in Charleston, IL the son of Rick Russell of Toledo and Debra Jo Sowers of Effingham. He is survived by his parents; son, Caleb (Olivia) Russell; daughters, Connor Jo (Paden) Yates and Kiersten (Austin) Huckaba; three grandchildren, Eleanor Jo, Lincoln Joseph, and Hudson; brothers, Ryan Russell, Cody Johnson, and Chase Johnson; sisters, Dustan Oakley, Chelsea Sipes, Lacey Henderson, and Heather Nichols. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jim Sowers, Anne Sowers, Betty Wisley and Les Russell.

Korey was a crop consultant at Nutrien Ag Solutions in Neoga, IL.
