Ken Roley

Donald Kenneth “Ken” Roley, 62, of Greenup, IL passed away at 5:00 PM on June 18, 2019 at his residence.

            Celebration of life services will be at 4:30 PM on Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Toledo Christian Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to service time at the church. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Ken was born on January 16, 1957 in Decatur, IL to Donald Kenneth & Bonnie (Bailey) Roley. He married Joy Lee Kemper on February 5, 1977. Surviving is his wife; son Justin (Laura) Roley of Greenup; two grandsons Davis Hugh Roley and Simon Lincoln Roley; brothers Bob (Linda) Roley of Effingham and Pete Everett of Dieterich; sister Barb (Jim) Hatfill of Watson; Brother in-law Dean Webster of Edgewood. Ken was preceded in death by his father and mother Bonnie Petty; infant son Donald Lee Roley and a sister Tina Webster.

Ken was a mechanic, if you had a motor that wouldn’t run, he could fix it. He was a member of the NRA. Memorials can be made to the Crossroads Cancer Center in Effingham, IL.  Online condolences can be expressed at www.barkleyfuneralchapels.com.
