Karl W. Lange

Karl W. Lange, 38, of Oblong, IL, passed away at 6:30 pm on Monday September 11, 2023, at Helia Healthcare in Newton.

 A one-hour memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Wednesday September 20, 2023, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. The burial will be in the Young America Cemetery in Hume, IL. at a later date.

Karl was born on August 23, 1985, the son of Paul and Margaret (Medler) Lange, in Effingham, IL. He is survived by his parents.

Karl was known for being a greeter around the community in Newton. He loved going around and making sure people were having a good day and giving them a smile. He also loved swimming. He was a person of few words but had a mind that was profound!
