Jennifer Denise Houser, age 43, of Newton, IL passed away on August 27, 2022, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Michigan City, IN.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday September 3, 2022, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Block cemetery rural Greenup. The family requests everyone to dress casual for services.

Jennifer was born on June 11, 1979, in Effingham, IL to Bart & Marlene (Horne) Houser.

Survivors include her parents Bart (Joanne) Houser and Marlene Harrell; children Ryan and MyLeah; sister Shell Houser; brothers Eric Hires and Kyle Houser; nieces and nephews Tyara, Jake, and Mollie; great nieces and nephew Alicen, Joycelyn, Ahriyah and Owen. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Dickie Harrell, brother Dickie Lee Harrell Jr; Uncle Jerry Allen; and niece Lexi Myers.
