Jeanette Sowers Obituary

Jeanette Sowers, 83, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, formerly of Effingham, Illinois, passed away on Monday May 6, 2024, at the Asension NE Wisconsin Mercy Hospital.

Services will be at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Jeanette was born on May 16, 1940, in Miami, FL. to Gordon and Dorothy (Darley) Tucker. She married Jesse Duane Sowers on June 13, 1958. He preceded her in 2020. Survivors include her daughters Jo Elaine (Russell) Zink and Colleen (Bob) Gross; grandchildren Clayton Zink, Jessie Burnham, Alicia Gross and Emily Newell; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers Gordon Tucker and Arthur Tucker.

Jeanette was a homemaker.
