Jason E. Powell

Jason E. Powell, 56, of Jewett, IL passed away at 7:54 am on September 8, 2021, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Memorial services will be at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family.

Jason was born in Mattoon, IL on January 29, 1965, to Jim & Judy (Henderson) Powell. Survivors include his parents; Judy Powell of Jewett, Jim (Cindy) Powell of Orland Park, IL; brothers Jim Powell (Diana Nelson) of Toledo, and Brian (Donda) Powell of Jewett, IL; sister Laurie (Joe) Ettelbrick of Toledo, IL; nieces and nephews are Megan (Derek) Warfel, Nathan Titus, Olivia (Matthew) Todd, Matt (Tanja) Nelson, Ryan (Racheal) Tipsword, Theresa Nelson, Levi (Ashley) Cravens, Tiara Stevens, and Courtney Marie Stevens; and several great nieces and nephews.

Jason had several jobs in different states, some of these were Evapco, Roadmaster, Essex, RR Donnelly, and a brick layer. He loved riding his “Wheeler” and enjoyed a bonfire and a cold Miller Lite.
