James "Rusty" Stewart

James Russell “Rusty” Stewart 52, of Greenup, IL. passed away on February 1, 2022.

Memorial visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday February 26, 2022, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. A celebration of life service will begin at the end of visitation.

Rusty was born on December 12, 1969, in Winter Garden, FL to James L. and Diane (Neal) Stewart. Survivors include two sons Codi Blayne Stewart and Kyle (Sydney) Stewart; his parents James (Millie) Stewart and Diane (Charles) Lawrence; sisters Angel (Kevin) Carter and BreAnna Rice; granddaughter Christabelle Ellison; girlfriend Zabrina Kuhn; step siblings Dustin (Victoria) Lawrence, Michael (Amber) Brandenburg, Rodney Rice and Leanne (Robert) Otts. And several nieces and nephews.

Rusty was working at Scott’s Building Center in Greenup. He loved Kayaking, playing guitar, playing free cell, woodworking, and his dog “Cowboy.” Memorials can be made to the Sons of the American Legion in Greenup, IL. Online condolences can be expressed at www.barkleyfuneralchapels.com
