James Dean Dearing (Jim), 49, of Greenup, IL passed away on February 24, 2023, at home.

Jim was born on January 18, 1974, in Mattoon, IL to Mary Dearing and Lonnie (Judy) Bueker.
He is survived by his mother Mary and bonus mom Judy; daughters Alexis (Zach), Taylor, and Caira Dearing; and grandson Tyson Dearing-Savoie. He is also survived by his sister Carrie (Junior) Mahnke, brothers Stanley Bueker (Jackie Robinson), and Billy Bueker (Melody Gallaher); bonus sisters Alissa Vandevender and Angela Tingley; nieces Willow Bueker, Kirsten Davis, and Niya Dillon; nephews Blayne Davis (Hannah Underwood) and Dylan Davis; bonus nieces and nephews Amberlynn, Chalous (Chelsey), Cody, Stormy, Raylee, Justin, Brian, Alexandra, AJ, Allen, AshLee, Myra, Madison, and Mylee. Jim was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Bueker, grandparents William and Rea Bueker, and Barbara June Dearing.
Jim was considered a "jack of all trades" and could do anything he put his mind to. He loved his family dearly. He loved a good steak and there was never a family event he didn't take several to go containers home for later.
