J. B. Sowers

J. B. Sowers, 63, of Toledo, IL passed away at 5:00 pm on July 5, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday July 13, 2024, at the Toledo Christian Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday at the church. The burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL is assisting the family.

J. B. was born on December 30, 1960, to Jim and Ann (Robinson) Sowers. He married Lisa Niemeyer on April 13, 1985. Survivors include his wife; children Taylor (Beth) Sowers, Dalton (Madison) Sowers, Tanner (Brooke) Sowers, and Casey (Jake) Repking; grandchildren Elsie, Emmett, Frankie and Thatcher Repking, Raylon, Ryder, Walker, Poppy, and Jarrett Sowers and Aedan McMechan; brother Jeff Sowers; sisters Debbie Johnson, Becky Heuerman, and Christie Ervin. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Brian Sowers, brother in laws Larry “Pupper” Heuerman, Greg Ervin, and Mike Niemeyer.
