Ivan Patrick

Ivan Patrick, 89, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:45 am on October 27, 2023, at Casey Health Care Center.

Private family and close friends’ services will be held on Wednesday November 1, 2023, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Burial will be in the Washington St. Cemetery Vernon Addition in Casey, IL.

Ivan was born in Casey, IL on August 8, 1934, to Roy and Lorene (Watts) Patrick. He married Dolores Kennedy on November 1, 1952, and she preceded him in death in 2015. Survivors include sons Mike (Debbie) Patrick and Eric (Tammy) Patrick both of Casey, IL; brother Donald (Sandra) Patrick; grandchildren Tawsha Patrick, Darin Patrick, Justin Patrick, Kyndall Patrick, Sierra Patrick, Corey Ulrey, Brandon Ulrey, and Erica Bueker; twelve great grandchildren. Ivan was preceded in death by his parents.

Ivan was a lifelong farmer. He also worked in the oil fields for 20 years and Eastern Illinois University for 20 years. Ivan enjoyed playing golf, but one of his favorite pastimes was watching his oil well. He was member of the Casey Masonic Lodge # 442 AF & AM, Valley of Danville Consistory, and the Casey Country Club. In lieu of flowers Memorials can be made to Shriner’s Hospital.
