Harvey E. Starwalt Jr.

Harvey Edmond Starwalt Jr, 50, of Jewett, IL passed away at 7:07 am on March 21, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday April 11, 2026, in the Hays Cemetery, rural Hidalgo, with Military Rites by the Cumberland County Veterans. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Harvey was born on November 3, 1975, in Olney, IL, to Harvey E. Sr and Susan (Chard) Starwalt.  Survivors include his father Harvey, sisters Diana (Mike) Finn, Eleanor (John) Osborne, Bobbi (Brian) Quinn, Tammy Brown, and Jackie Espinosa, step-sister Tami Brown, step-brother Kenny Brown, special niece Kayla (Anthony) Lovell, and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother Susan, brother Roger Kinman, nephew Roger Craig, and step-sister Tanya Brown.

Harvey was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Strike Fighter Attack Squadron 25. He was honorably discharged and received the National Defense Service Medal. He assisted the Cumberland County Veteran Honor Guard with Military Rites Services for many years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Harvey Starwalt Sr. and mailed to 506 E Madison St. Toledo, IL. 62468 to assist the family with funeral cost.
