Floyd D. Lawhorn

Floyd D. Lawhorn, 63, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:59 pm on July 23, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A memorial visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday July 31, 2025, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. A celebration of life service will begin at 7:00 pm. The burial will be at a later date.

Floyd was born in Joliet, IL on September 19, 1961, to Raymond and Nora (Frost) Lawhorn. He married Megan Watkins on August 2, 2008. Survivors include his loving wife; loving father to Michael, Tyler, and Tracye; brother Robert Lawhorn; sisters Betty Shackelford, and  Roberta (Stump) Shackelford; brother in-laws Pat Lively, Jerry Vance, and Frank Shafer; sister in-law Kimber (Joe) Penrod; nieces and nephews Tina, Chris, Becky, Mary, Wendi, Ronnie, Jimy, Danny, Mike, Sharon, Jimmy, Jason, Electra, Brooks, Amanda, Sandra, Jake, Josh, Kurt, Nick, Beth, and Donnie. A host great nieces and nephews some closer Dylan, Devan, Cody, Noah, Gavyn, Maverick, Rhett, Kinley, Audrey, Kayce, Weston, and Madyln. Floyd was preceded in death by his father Raymond; Mother Nora Allen; sisters Patricia Vance, Sherry Shafer, Sheila Lively, and Lucille Soltysik.
