Elwanda L. Hardy

Elwanda L. Hardy, age 82, of Greenup, IL. passed away at 6:32 pm on November 8, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday November 13, 2021, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday November 12, 2021, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery.

Elwanda was born on June 3, 1939, to Cecil and Edna (Ballinger) Davis in Windsor, IL. She is survived by her son, David Judson of Greenup, IL, daughters Cheryl Sowers of Greenup, IL, and Brenda (Bob) Pfrommer of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Scott (Josie) Sowers, Roger Sowers, Evan (Audra) Price, Lindsey Cunningham, Olivia Judson, Lora Judson, Chase Ellington, and Chelsey Ellington; great-grandchildren, Derek Sowers, Drew Sowers, and Archer Price.  Elwanda is preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother, and one sister, Luella Sparling.

Elwanda was a homemaker and worked at Casey Tool, in Casey, IL for many years. She was also a member of the Toledo Christian Church.
