We know GOD loves us because he gave us Doris G. Perisho on February 26, 1934. Doris was the daughter of Forrest & Grace Perisho of Casey. She married the love of her life and best friend Junior "Abe" Devall on June 17th, 1952. They treasured 60 years together. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2012 and she missed him every day. They had three daughters, Ruth Lawrence, Cheryl Stone, Linda Sowers and son-in-law, Dennis Sowers, all of Greenup. Seven grandchildren-Michelle (Todd) Kingery, Dustin (Misti) Lawrence, Kim (Trey) Ryan, Parker Stone, Mindy Stone, Trey (Madeleine) Stone, Sara Stone. Seven great- grandchildren-Katie, Shelby and Alissa Kingery, Arayah Lawrence, Vannah Ryan, Parker & Nolan Stone. Sisters-Norma Keys and Mary Breidenbaugh. She was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert (Bud) Perisho, and four sisters, Wuanita Watters, Beaulah Melton, Bernice Melton, and Virginia Morris and her parents.

Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to cook. Her homemade pies and noodles were second to none and were enjoyed by all with no one leaving her home hungry. Doris enjoyed flowers, gardening, farmers markets, music, antiques, country drives, reading the bible, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren thought her picture was in the dictionary by the word "Grandma" as she cherished each and every one. She adored her pet chihuahua "Joey". Doris was a woman with a joyful spirit, understanding heart, caring and saw the best in everything. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten, always in our hearts.

Doris's life was an example of her favorite bible verse, Ephesians 4:32-"And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as GOD also forgave you in Christ"
