Donna Carlen Obituary

Donna M. Carlen of Greenup, IL passed away at 5:02 p.m. Thursday July 11, 2024, at her home.

There will be no services per Donna’s wishes. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Donna was born August 3, 1937 in Greenup, IL. The daughter of Robert Gerald and Cleo (Sperry) Dunn. She married Gene Carlen on February 7, 1958. Surviving is her loving husband Gene, son Tony (Lyn) Carlen of Greenup, two grandsons Jackson and Reid Carlen, several nieces and nephews, and her loving canine companion Pixie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and brother-in-law’s: Freda and Russell Markwell, Virginia and Euris Henderson, Alberta and Lloyd Darling; two nephews Jerry Darling and Dean Darling.

Memorials may be made to the Methodist Church in Greenup or to the donor’s choice.
