Daniel D. Coad

Daniel D. Coad, 50, of Toledo, IL passed away at 8:20 pm on September 8, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday September 15, 2021, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery.

Daniel was born on February 13, 1971, in Olney, IL to Dennis and Donna (Brown) Coad. He graduated from Newton Community High School in 1989. He married Cathy Woodall on June 17, 1995. Survivors include his wife; his mother Donna Coad; three sons Jonathan Coad fiancé’ Corinne Courtright, Alex Coad, and David Coad; brother Doug Coad (Ashley Bouvy); sisters Debbie (Andre) Leachman, and Deanna (Chad) Kerner; grandfather Robert Coad; uncle Mark Coad; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents Waunita Coad and Henry I. and Mary K. Brown.

Daniel worked as a technician for Mediacom for 12 plus years. He loved being in the outdoors, hunting mushrooms in the spring, and working on cars. He was a member of the Mt.
