Carl R. Kemper

Carl R. “Bob” Kemper, age 82, of Greenup, IL passed away at 7:55 pm on Saturday October 23, 2021, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday November 3, 2021, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL.

Carl was born on April 12,1939, in Greenup, IL. to Todd and Norma (Cutright) Kemper.  He married Emma Irby on March 12, 1966, and she preceded him in death on December 12,2014. Carl is survived by his son, Kenny (Donna) Kemper; brother John Kemper; grandchildren Marki (Clayton) Milsap, and Dalton (Allison) Kemper. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Patsy Kinsel.

Carl served his county in the United States Air Force. He worked at Celotex Corporation in Charleston, IL.
