Bowen E. Tyler Sidwell

Bowen E. Tyler Sidwell, 23, of Greenup, Illinois passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday September 8, 2023, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday September 7, 2023, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery, in rural Casey, IL.

Bowen was born on April 6, 2000, in Mattoon, IL. the son of Jerry L. Sidwell Jr. and Amanda Heuerman. He is survived by his parents Amanda Heuerman and Jerry (Billie) Sidwell Jr; paternal grandfather Jerry L. Sidwell and paternal grandmother Sandra L. Sidwell; Brother Tobias Sidwell/McKemie, stepbrothers Korey and Garet Montgomery, and like a brother Dravyn Sidwell; sisters Jaeda Shunn, Angela DeVoss, Joanna Sidwell, stepsisters Jazzman Hill and Raven Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dan and Linda Heuerman.

Bowen was a farm worker. He loved music, the Chicago Bulls, and enjoyed helping people. He always made sure to make time to spend with his mom.
