Bobby McGuire Obituary

Robert Laverne McGuire, age 55, passed away peacefully at 5:33 p.m. on Friday April 26, 2024 at Sullivan Rehab and Health Care Center.

The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

Bobby was born on June 29, 1968 to Laverne and Joyce (Barnett) McGuire in Mattoon, IL. He is survived by his brothers; Tracey (Julie) McGuire and Jeff McGuire. Sister; Susan Jackson (Rocky Cowger). Along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Grandparents; Orville and Mildred Barnett of Johnstown, IL. Grandmother; Elwanda Sams. Aunt Elain Debault. And one nephew, Jacob McGuire.

Bobby was a graduate of Armstrong School in Mattoon, IL. Bobby enjoyed watching old western movies, the Dukes of Hazzard, and especially loved spending time outdoors.
