Becky Ann Evans

Becky Ann Evans, 82, of Toledo, IL, passed away at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday December 24, 2024, at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday December 30 2024, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo. Memorial visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral chapel. Burial of cremated remains will follow in the Janesville Cemetery.

Becky was born on August 3, 1942, in Mattoon, IL to William and Dorothy (Walker) Leitch. She married her husband Rex Evans on June 29, 1963. Survivors include her children Christine Drum and Michael (Brandy) Evans; brothers Bryan (Sally) Leitch, Larry (Kay) Leitch, Jim (Chrissy) Leitch, Terry (Eva) Leitch; sisters Joyce (Larry) Sparks, Peggy (Roy) Strong, Cathy Leitch; grandchildren Megan Wells, Jerrod Evans, Emily Evans, Abigail Evans; great-grandchildren Elliott Grace Evans, Evan Ray Elliott, Theodore Blaine Evans, Eisley Blake Elliott, Finnegan Raylan Evans, and Eli Michael Elliott. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Rex, infant twin brothers, and great-grandchild Cohen Thomas Evans.

Becky was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife, working side by side by her husband for many years. Becky went to Lakeland College to obtain her nursing degree. She worked at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center for 26 years before retirement.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Life Center of Cumberland County.
