Auttie "Pete" Decker Jr.

Auttie “Pete” Bryant Decker Jr., 80, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:00 am on December 20, 2021, at Heartland Nursing and Rehab Center in Casey, IL.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday December 23, 2021, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 to service time on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Toledo cemetery.

Auttie was born on January 26, 1941, in Valparaiso, IN to Auttie and Mabel (Peart) Decker. He married Barbara Davis on August 5, 1978, and she preceded him on October 6, 2009. Survivors include children Jack Decker, Bryant Decker, Mark Decker, Allan Middleton, Bobby Decker, Patricia Yates, Mary Peach, Lena Stout, Elsie Wilde, Erica Williams and Bonnie Becker; brother Larry Decker; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronnie Decker and sister Alice Weston.

Auttie was a truck driver for Hogan Transportation for many years. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Greenup, IL. and a proud member of the NRA.  Memorials can be made to the Baptist church in Greenup.  Online condolences can be expressed at www.barkleyfuneralchapels.com
