Alice A Throneburg

Alice A. Throneburg, 79, of Toledo, IL. passed away at 5:05 am on September 15, 2023, at the Casey Healthcare Nursing Home.

A memorial graveside service will be in the Friends Grove Cemetery in Toledo on September 29, 2023, at 3:00 pm. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo is assisting the family.

Alice was born on November 28, 1943, the daughter of George and Carrie (Oakley) Moses, in Toledo, IL. She married Gene Throneburg on June 14, 1964. She is survived by her husband Gene and her brother Richard Moses. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gene Moses, and sister Gail Darling.

Alice was a 3rd grade teacher at the Cumberland Elementary School for 35 years. She cared for and loved all of her students she had throughout her years of teaching. Alice was also a member of the Friends Grove Church for many years.
