Olive Lee Albert, age 76, of Greenup, IL passed away at 12:27 am on December 11, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 till services time on Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Hays Cemetery rural Hidalgo, IL.

Olive was born on August 31, 1935 in Greenup, IL the daughter of John & Inez Hill Seets. She married Chester Albert in Hidalgo, IL on October 17, 1952. Surviving is her husband, Sons Terry wife Karen Albert and Darrell Albert both of Greenup, IL daughters Betty husband William Phillippi of Greenup and Barbara husband David Phillippi of Martinsville, IL. Sister Rosemary Scales of Greenup, IL. grandchildren Valerie, Justin and Richard Albert, Junior, Shawnda, Bridget and Mary Phillippi; great grandchildren Paige and Leah Albert, Brooklyn and David Wood, George Fritz, Madysun Phillippi Davis, Mykai Phillippi Davis and several extended great grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by her parents, Sister Judy Gates, daughter Christina Sue Craig, granddaughters Rhonda Sue Craig and Americus Phillippi.

Olive was a homemaker and worked for several years at Essex in Newton, IL.
