M. Margaret Niccum, 76, of Greenup, IL passed away at 1:25 AM Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga, IL.

Private family burial will be Monday June 11, 2018 at Greenup Cemetery in Greenup, IL. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL.

She was born on September 29, 1941 in Greenup, IL to Otto and Lena (Mead) Carter.

Margaret is survived by sons Aaron (Phyllis) Eggers of Ingraham, IL and William (Dena) Eggers of Toledo, IL; brothers Dean (Faye) Carter of Carmi, IL and Tom (Judy) Carter of Casey, IL; one sister Betty Sowers; four grandchildren Christopher Eggers, Amanda Goudie, Lacey Eggers, and Hannah Eggers. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers John, Robert, Kenneth, and Jack Carter. 

Margaret was a retired postmaster for the United Stated Postal Service.
