Loretta Mae Freeman

Loretta M. Freeman, 82, of Iuka, IL and formerly of Greenup, IL passed away at 2:46 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the service time. Burial will be in the Mullen Cemetery.

Loretta was born on August 29, 1935 in Toledo, IL, the daughter of Dewey and Beulah (Coats) Shaw. She married Harley Freeman on November 10, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1995. Surviving is her brother Melvin (Linda) Shaw of Greenup and sister Marcella (Tom) Webb of Iuka, IL; granddaughter Amanda Brown and three great grandchildren, Isabelle and Payton Brown and Savannah Probst. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Steven Freeman, her daughter Linda Freeman, brothers Cecil, Bill, Fred & Danny and sister Carolyn Irby.
