Geraldine Louise (Schrader) Sallee

Geraldine Louise Sallee, 73, passed away peacefully at 2:45 PM on October 7, 2019.

Graveside memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 26, 2019 at the Greenup Cemetery. The Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.

She was the wife of Ronald Sallee and they shared 58 years together. She was born in Cecil, PA to the late Roy and Margaret Schrader.  Surviving is her loving husband, son David (Amy) Sallee; grandchildren Buddy (Chelsie) Sallee and Matthew Sallee; great grandchildren Kailyn and Cooper Sallee; sisters  Lucille (Wade) Garber, Linda Schrader and Joy Boggs; brothers Edward (Sonny) Schrader, Roy (Dump) Shrader, William “Bill” Schrader and Danny Schrader; brother in law Garry Sallee and sister in laws Lorene Stewart, Kathy Peters and Connie Castillo. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Morris “Buddy” Schrader; sisters Margaret “Peggy” Page and Nancy; brother in laws Roy, William and Clifford Sallee; sister in law Carolyn Oakley.

Geri attended school at Cecil and Waynesburg schools in Pennsylvania, Geri was employed by McCune Brooks Hospital ER as a CNA for many years. She was worked at Carthage Walmart until her health forced an early retirement. She enjoyed music, gardening and was an avid collector of dolls, but more than anything she loved the time spent with her great grandchildren.
