Charles H. Scott

Charles H. Scott, 75, of Toledo, IL passed away at 5:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2019 at his residence.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo, IL. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the chapel. Family request to dress casually.  Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery.

Charlie was born May 3, 1944 the son of Charles William and Virginia (Miller) Scott. He married Marilyn D. Clark on May 29, 1971. Charlie is survived by his wife; son Bill (Leona) Scott; daughter Dee (Jim) Bledsaw; grandchildren Eva Diane Bledsaw, Hunter James Bledsaw, Austen W. Scott and Josie T. Scott; and sisters Judy Wilson and Joyce Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Charlie was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Toledo Christian Church, Harley Owners Group and a Farm Bureau Member. He enjoyed horseback and motorcycle riding.
