Carol A. Ash, 73, of Bridgeport, IL passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family.

Carol was born on November 30, 1944 in Hillsboro, IL the daughter of Russel Maroney and step-mother Dorothy Maroney. Her aunt Mabel Moroney whom she called her mom played a huge part in her upbringing.

She is survived by her daughter Angel (David) Bower of Yale, IL, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Larry (Shelia) Maroney, sister Dorthy Mathews, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by son Gary Wilkinson and daughter Shannon Wilkinson.
