Brian Carr Obituary

Brian S. Carr, 57 of Houston, Texas formerly of Greenup, Illinois passed away on April 3, 2018 in Houston.

Brian attended Cumberland schools and Eastern Illinois University. After graduation from EIU he attended the South Texas College of Law and was awarded a Doctorate in Jurisprudence. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in May 1986.

Brian is survived by his siblings: John W. Carr (Janice) of Greenup, Elaine Gregory of Greenup, Ray A. Carr of Charleston, and Kathy Kracht (Harry) of Decatur. Nieces; Jennifer (John) Rabaey, Joann Lake, Karoline Kracht, Teresa Truesdale (Jim), Tracy Williams (Aaron), Michelle Massey (Robert), and one nephew Gabe Carr. He also had an extraordinary group of friends in Texas and Morocco that he considered family.

He was preceded by his parents William (Bill) and Lucille (Thomas) Carr of Greenup.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting with arrangements.
